Accessibility Statement

Multi-Housing Depot — multihousingdepot.com

Multi-Housing Depot is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of how the site is built and maintained, not as a one-time exercise.

What we have done

In September 2026 we commissioned an accessibility audit of this website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and acted on its findings. As a result:

  • People using a keyboard can now skip the navigation. A "Skip to content"

link appears on the first key press and moves you directly to the main content of the page, instead of stepping through every menu item on every page.

  • Every form field now has a label that screen readers announce correctly,

including the quantity fields in our vanity ordering table.

  • Keyboard focus is always visible. Wherever you are on the page, there is a

clear indicator showing which control you are on.

  • Our forms support autofill, so browsers and assistive technology can

complete your name, address and contact details for you.

  • The homepage slideshow can be paused. A pause control sits before the slides

in the keyboard order, and the slideshow stops automatically if you move keyboard focus into it.

  • Images that carry information now describe themselves to screen readers,

including our certifications, partner platforms and product photography.

  • Page structure is clearer. Every page has a single main heading, navigation

regions are distinctly named, and our price tables announce the correct column heading for each figure.

  • The site respects your system's "reduce motion" setting.
  • Controls are easier to hit on mobile, including the carousel navigation.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that most of the content meets the standard, and we know of specific areas that do not yet.

Areas we are still working on

  1. Colour contrast. Some text and buttons that use our brand blue do not yet

meet the minimum contrast ratio against their background. A revised approach to how our brand colours are combined is in progress. Target: Q4 2026.

  1. Cookie consent banner. The banner can obscure the item a keyboard user is

focused on, and some of its controls are not fully labelled. This element is provided by a third-party plugin and we are addressing it with the supplier. Target: Q4 2026.

  1. Documents. PDFs such as specification sheets and credit applications have

not yet been assessed. If you need any document in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide one.

We continue to test the site as we add and change content, and we will update this statement as these items are resolved.

Tell us if something is not working

If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, we want to hear about it.

We aim to respond within 3 business days.

It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you were using — but please get in touch either way.

How we assessed this site

This website was assessed by self-evaluation in September 2026, using two complementary methods.

Automated testing. We tested ten representative pages with axe-core 4.10 (run through Deque Systems' @axe-core/cli in headless Chrome) against the WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA, WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and WCAG 2.2 Level AA rule sets. The pages tested were the home page, Products, Products › Cabinets, Request a Quote, Vanity Program, Insights, FAQ, About Us, Shop and My Account.

As of the most recent scan on 8 September 2026, every remaining automated finding relates to colour contrast — the item listed above as in progress. Four of the ten pages tested return no automated findings at all.

Manual testing. Because automated tools detect only a portion of accessibility barriers, we also carried out manual testing: a keyboard-only walkthrough of the site including both enquiry forms, verification that focus is visible on every interactive control, measurement of touch target sizes on mobile, checking that the site reflows without horizontal scrolling at 320px width, and confirming that content is not lost when text spacing is increased.

Testing with a screen reader is planned for Q4 2026.

We re-test after significant changes to the site.

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, used together with a screen reader or other assistive technology.
